Hi! I'm Jenny. I am a senior at UNC, and, like most every other bio major, I started out pre-med. Generally, I aspire to reform the medical profession by generously allowing my brilliance, patient-centered mind, and humility rub off onto my collegues. No, seriously, The Plan is Nurse-Midwifery; I plan to finish my biology degree (since I enjoy the subject), then continue on for a second degree - a BSN: bachelor's of science in nursing, either here at UNC or at MUSC (Medical University of South Carolina) in Charleston. Then, I plan to work for a bit to get some experience in the L&D (Labor and Delivery), and return to school for a master's in nurse-midwifery. Right now though, I'm excited about being the office manager of some of the brand-new Ram Village undergraduate apartments on campus. I'm also a doula and a camp counselor. Oh, and I spent last summer in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico - and it was fabulous!
